Dustinland first appeared in The Pipe Dream—Bignhamton University's bi-weekly school newspaper. Binghamton is nestled in upstate NY and is considered the crown jewel of SUNY, New York's state school system. As you can see here, the early Dustinlands left a bit to be desired in both art and tact.
